Make of these what you will -- I was raised in the Church of England and much of that still lingers in memory and belief though long one from today's harsher realities of division and isolation. Much that has been added since in the name of faith sounds a little hollow and thin, and I wonder about some belligerent believers in the United States today whose mission seems to be to poke the world in the eye.... but as I say, I do still believe, though not in a North American way akin to my limerick about An Itinerant Preacher From Vegas or encapsulate in Dubious Theology. No, I believe, but more in an old world mystic way of experiencing something much more difficult to express and larger than systematic theologies.
