The Poet

This selection is intended to reveal a little more about me, Expatrius, AKA Peter, 25 year California resident, British, Celtic, European: born UK 1946,  than what could be inferred from just the content of the writing and images.

I am uninterested in profiting from art; I want what I create to be what I see through my poet’s eyes without the influence of being considered “marketable”. Money changes art similarly to the way we are told observing changes quantum experiments; money inevitably corrupts creativity the way it corrupts politics.

Art is a gift from the sacred, to be treasured and nurtured, too valuable to be wasted or prostituted.
